DESIGN:
The capacitors consist of a ceramic disc both sides of which are
silver-plated.  Connection  leads  are  made  of  tinned copper.
 
The capacitors  may be supplied  with  kinked  or  straight leads
with a lead spacing of 5 mm (0.20"), 7.5 mm (0.30") or 10 mm (0.40")
and a lead length from 4 mm to 30 mm. The standard  tolerance on
capacitance  is 5  %  or 10 %  for class 1  capacitors and  ±
10 % or ± 20 %  for class 2 capacitors. Encapsulation is made
of blue colored epoxy-resin.

HVC capacitor offer a reliable and cost-effective solution to various electrical applications, thanks to their high capacitance, small size, and low tolerance. Our product line includes a wide range of ceramic capacitors, such as the 10pf 2kv, 102k 2kv capacitor, 103m 3kv capacitor, 222m 2kv capacitor, and 2kv 220pf capacitor. We also offer higher capacitance options such as the 1000pf 3kv, 102k 3kv, and 103y 3kv tdk. Our capacitors are rated at various voltage levels to meet different application needs, such as the 222m 3kv, 2kv 221 capacitor, and 1000pf 3kv capacitor. We also provide high-voltage options, such as the 102k 6kv, 103z 2kv, 222z 2kv, and 2kv 223. Our capacitors come in different sizes, including the compact size of the 101 2kv, 102m 2kv, and 103z 2kv capacitor series, and the larger size of the 222z 3kv and 2kv 223j capacitors. Our capacitors are available in both single and multi-layer designs, such as the 101 2kv capacitor, 102m 2kv capacitor, and 103z 2kv data. What are high voltage Ceramic Capacitors
Ceramic capacitors are made of ceramic material. Ceramics were the earliest material to be used in the production of capacitors since they were known as insulators.
 
Different geometries were used in ceramic capacitors, with some, like ceramic tubular capacitors and barrier layer capacitors, being obsolete today due to their size, parasitic effect, or electrical properties.
 
Modern electronics predominantly use multilayer ceramic capacitors, known as ceramic multilayer chip capacitors (MLCC) and ceramic disc capacitors. There are approximately 1000 billion MLCCs produced each year; that's a lot of capacitors! They have manufactured with SMD (surface-mounted) technology and are popular due to their small size.
 
The ceramic capacitors are typically made with very small capacitances, normally between 1 nF and 1F, though values of up to 100F are also possible. A ceramic capacitor is small in size and has a very low maximum rated voltage. It means they can be connected safely to an AC source since they are not polarized. The ceramic capacitor has a great frequency response due to its low parasitic characteristics, which are resistance and inductance.
 
Definition of ceramic capacitors
A ceramic capacitor is a capacitor that conducts electricity by using a ceramic material as the dielectric. Multilayer ceramic capacitors and ceramic disc capacitors are the most common types.

Tolerances and precision

Today, ceramic capacitors are available in two classes: 

Ø Ceramic capacitors Class 1
Capacitors of Class 1 have very high stability and little loss. The capacitance value of these devices is very accurate when applied to varying voltages, temperature, and frequency. The NP0 series of capacitors have an operating temperature range of -55 to +125 °C and thermal stability of +0.54%. Nominal capacitance tolerances can be as low as  1%.

Ø Ceramic capacitors Class 2
A class 2 capacitor has a high capacitance per volume, which allows it to be used in applications when the voltage requirements are lower. 
 The nominal value tolerance is around 20%, and their thermal stability is typically 15% in the operating temperature range.
 
The advantages of size
A great advantage is MLCC devices when high component packing densities are required like those in many modern printed circuit boards (PCBs). To illustrate this point, a ceramic capacitor package measuring just 0.4 mm x 0.2 mm is used in the 0402 multilayer circuit. There are usually at least 500 ceramic layers and metal layers in such a package. 
 
A high voltage and high power system 
Power ceramic capacitors, made of ceramic that is physically larger and can safely operate at much higher voltages. They are much larger than those commonly found on printed circuit boards and have specialized terminals for safe connections to high voltage power supplies. Capacitors can be manufactured to withstand voltages from 2kV up to 100kV, and their powers exceed 200 volts-amperes.
In printed circuit boards, smaller MLCCs can withstand voltages from as little as a few volts up to hundreds of volts, depending on the application.
 
A ceramic capacitor's applications
Being aware that multilayer ceramic capacitors are the most widely manufactured capacitors in the electronics industry, it becomes clear that there are countless applications for these capacitors. A resonant circuit in transmitter sites is a good example of a high-precision, high-power application. High voltage laser power supplies, power circuit breakers, induction furnaces, etc., use class 2 high power capacitors.
The smaller-form (surface mounting) caps used in high-density applications have the size of a grain of sand and are commonly used in printed circuit boards. Also, they are used in DC-DC converters, which have high frequencies and high levels of electrical noise, which put a lot of stress on the components.
 Although ceramic capacitors do not have polarization, they can be used as general-purpose capacitor since their capacitances, voltage ratings, and sizes are available in numerous varieties.  Many hobbyists, specifically in robotics, are familiar with ceramic disc capacitors used across brushes DC motors to minimize RF noise.

1) Semiconductor ceramic capacitor
 
Surface ceramic capacitor, the miniaturization of capacitor, that is, the capacitor to get as much capacity as possible with as small volume, is one of the development trends of capacitor. There are two basic methods for miniaturization of capacitor components: increasing the dielectric constant of dielectric material as much as possible and making the thickness of dielectric layer as thin as possible. In ceramic materials, the dielectric constant of ferroelectric ceramics is very high, but when ordinary ferroelectric ceramic capacitors are made of ferroelectric ceramics, it is difficult to make the ceramic medium very thin. First of all, ferroelectric ceramics have low strength and are easy to fracture when they are thin, which makes the actual production operation very difficult. Secondly, when the ceramic medium is very thin, it is easy to cause various structural defects, which makes the production process very difficult.
 
 
With the rapid development of electronic industry, it is urgent to develop high voltage ceramic capacitors with high breakdown voltage, low loss, small volume and high reliability. In the past 20 years, high voltage ceramic capacitors developed at home and abroad have been widely used in power system, laser power supply, tape recorder, color TV, electron microscope, copier, office automation equipment, aerospace, missile, navigation and other fields. Barium titanate based ceramic materials have the advantages of high dielectric coefficient and good AC withstand voltage performance, but they also have the disadvantages of capacitance change rate increasing with medium temperature and insulation resistance decreasing.
 
3) Multilayer ceramic capacitor
 
It is the most widely used type of chipset. It is a kind of single chip capacitor. The inner electrode material and the ceramic body are alternately and parallelly stacked in multiple layers and co fired as a whole. It has the characteristics of small volume, high specific volume and high precision. It can be installed on the printed circuit board and hybrid integrated circuit board, effectively reducing the volume and weight of electronic information terminal products, and improving the reliability of products. In line with the development direction of miniaturization, lightweight, high performance and multi-function of information industry, the national long-term goal outline in 2010 clearly puts forward that surface mount components and other new components should be the development focus of electronic industry. It not only has simple package and good sealing performance, but also can effectively isolate the counter electrode. MLCC can store charge, block DC, filter, fuse, distinguish different frequencies and tune circuits in electronic circuits. High frequency switching power supply, computer network power supply and mobile communication equipment can partly replace organic film capacitor and electrolytic capacitor, which greatly improves the filtering performance and anti-interference performance of high frequency switching power supply.
